Frozen

Application In Your Life:

  • George Shuba played for seven seasons for the Brooklynn dodgers and was pictured shaking Jackie Robison's hand after he hit his first ever home run. Shuba, in all his humility, swung a bat 600 times a day, 4,200 times a week, and 47,200 times every winter. Some people are more gifted than others sure. But unless that giftedness is coupled with a complementary work ethic, it will only result in wasted potential.
  • The day David defeated Goliath was not actually won on that day, it was won the day before, and the day before, and the day before. The greatest year of your life, your dream year could start today but you have to begin by winning today.
  •  For a chapter titled Frozen, we must talk about the Disney movie and its famous song, Let It Go. The couple that wrote Let It Go, with over ten million copies sold and an Academy Award, has had seventeen previous songs that had failed to be produced. It is about a daily discipline to win the day and persevere through failure.

Biggest Takeaway:

  • You could have the greatest year of your life, but you have to start by winning the day. Through a coupled work ethic you can advance your life day by day. Stay frozen to your convictions and frozen to your habits to get you to where you want to be.

Quotes:

  1. If you keep doing the right thing day in and day out, one day God is going to show up and show off.
  2. The God who got us here will get us there, and the God who did this will do that.

Maturity is the balance between courage and consideration.  Abundance Mentality is the paradigm that there is plenty out there for everybody. A character rich in integrity, maturity, and the Abundance Mentality has a genuineness that goes far beyond technique, or lack of it, in human interaction. If we search deeply enough within ourselves-beyond the scripting, beyond the learned attitudes and behaviors- the real validation of Win/Win, as well as every other correct principle, is in our lives.  Relationshi...
