  • George Shuba played for seven seasons for the Brooklynn dodgers and was pictured shaking Jackie Robison's hand after he hit his first ever home run. Shuba, in all his humility, swung a bat 600 times a day, 4,200 times a week, and 47,200 times every winter. Some people are more gifted than others sure. But unless that giftedness is coupled with a complementary work ethic, it will only result in wasted potential.

It is about a daily discipline to win the day and persevere through failure.
